I extended a work trip over a weekend to get a sample of the area around Juneau. The weather was mixed (as is typical of fall in Southeast Alaska). And while it did snow a bit, the temps mostly stayed above the freezing point which allowed me to get out and capture these amazing images. Next time I get to Juneau, I hope to have better weather and explore more of the hiking the area is known for.
Fun fact: Juneau is one of only two state capitals in the US that has no roads connecting it to the outside world (Honolulu is the other). You can only get to Juneau by boat or plane!
