In late July 2025 we flew into Split and spent the next sixteen days working our way through the Balkans and into Greece — Kotor, Dubrovnik, then across to Corfu and Mykonos before finishing in Athens. Six cities, a lot of cobblestone.
This was my first time in continental Europe. What stayed with me was how naturally the history fits into everyday life — buildings centuries old, repurposed and still in use, still lived in.
Sixteen days across six cities was exhausting — in the best way. So much history packed into such a short stretch of time, and so many places I'd never been. I'm already looking forward to going back on another Europe adventure.
